After law school, Mr. Helsabeck moved to Midland, Texas where he worked as a Field Landman. As a Field Landman, Mr. Helsabeck worked on a variety of different title projects, including drill-site title, full title, Due Diligence, and title verification; additionally, Mr. Helsabeck worked title projects in over 25 counties located within the Permian, Delaware and San Juan Basins, including BIA and BLM lands.

Since leaving Midland, Mr. Helsabeck moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area and worked contract for a major oil and gas producer working with their Owners’ Relation Department. Subsequently, Mr. Helsabeck joined Martin Lawyers where he focuses his practice on Oil and Gas Law, Business Formations and general Corporate Law.
